We are seeking individuals with strong character and integrity to become Hikuta instructors to promote and provide training all over the world.

Eligible individuals will only offer this training to those who will be responsible with Hikuta. If this describes you, we encourage you to proceed with training and certification.

TRAINING (required steps)

Order 'Extreme Combat' DVD and practice for 6 months.

Attend a seminar or,

Order the 'Big Kuta DVD's and practice for 6 months. (as an option instead of attending a seminar.)

After a total of 12 months of practice you are eligible to begin testing.

TESTING: (procedures)

Fill out the training application by clicking here and email a digital picture of yourself to customer service.

Test at one of our seminars (test applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to a seminar) Or,

Video tape yourself performing the required techniques (which we will email to you) for evaluation, and mail the video to us at: Cutting Edge Combat, P.O. Box 404, Lakewood, CA. 90714 USA.
Be sure to notify our customer service department when you ship the video.

The length of the video footage should be a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.

(Preferred video format is .avi, .mpg, .mp4, .wmv or .mov file on a DVD disk) *PAL (Europe video standard) format will not be accepted.
To test for re-certification (required every 12 months), follow steps 1, 2 and 3 above.
Individuals who wish only to be tested without becoming certified may do so following the same procedure as above. Each evaulation is $100 and includes: evaluation of students either in person at a seminar or by video submitted by the student, feedback via email and training certificate signed by Kubler Al.

CERTIFICATION (benefits package) $297

Testing, evaluation and feedback of prescribed techniques.

A diploma for instructor status.

Website listing: your name, picture and contact information to be listed on the certified instructor section on www.Hikuta.com (Listed for 1 year, until certification expires)

Annual re-certification is available $100 after the first year (including video evaluation, certificate and a one-year instructor listing on the Hikuta.com website.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Instructors may certify other instructors up to their level of training. Instructor certificates must be obtained from Cutting Edge Combat.
Instructors must evaluate each student not only to assist with learning, but also to determine if the student will be responsible in his or her use of the art.
Tell Cutting Edge Combat any stories about how you used Hikuta to defend yourself.

Practice 6 months.

* 2nd Degree and beyond are only available in person.

2^nd Degree-	Extreme Kicks	Blackheart
Practice 6 months.

3^rd Degree-	Universal Contact	Templeguard
Practice 6 months.

4^th Degree-	Body Control	Kubler
Practice 6 months.

5^th Degree-	Weapons	D.O.K.
Practice 6 months.

* These are the original 5 degrees of Kuta as they were received by Kubler Al.
