	Kubler Al is the director of training of Cutting Edge Combat.

Al Abidin is an internationally recognized author/writer, speaker, master instructor and one of the worlds leading self-defense experts.

He is the founder and director of training for Cutting Edge Combat, international provider of hand-to-hand combat training.

His twenty-nine years of combined hand-to-hand combat experience includes: 1981-1983 studied karate under Dwight Lomayesva, senior student of Fumio Demura; 1991-1992 studied aikido under Masatoshi Morita; 1994-1997 studied the ‘professional art of Kuta’ under DOK Lee, the sole-surviving member of an elite commando unit and also a bodyguard.

In 1997, D.O.K. Lee (Master of Masters) certified Al as a master instructor in the professional art of Kuta.

Then in 2000 with the passing of D.O.K. Lee, Al became the head of the Kuta system making him the highest-ranking Kuta instructor in the world.

As an internationally recognized combat expert, he has students all over the United States and in 21 other countries.

His articles have been published in Police Magazine, one of the largest law enforcement magazines in the world, and he has also authored a crime prevention manual 'How To Survive a Mugging' (an eBook available online).

He has been a guest speaker at numerous public venues including TREXPO (Tactical Response Exposition, an international law enforcement exposition) and he has been interviewed on radio and for a television special.

He has provided defensive tactics training for the U.S. Department of Commerce NOAA Office of Law Enforcement Western region, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Lennox Station, the City of San Clemente Marine Safety Division and numerous individual law enforcement officers.

He has provided private seminars in the United States and Australia.

His program provides increased safety and confidence using hand-to-hand skills.

His system is a breath of fresh air as many abandon complex and outdated training methods.

He has developed a powerful curriculum that delivers maximum effectiveness in a very short period of time.
